Cool to Intermediate. A medium grower,soft cane type, canes need supporting or they will bend and pinch. Flowers to about 5 to 6cm with a beautifull perfume.

Cool to Intermediate. A medium grower,very pretty flowers to about 4 to 5cm.

Cool to intermediate. A medium grower,pretty flower to about 5 to 7mm.

Cool to Intermediate. A medium grower,gorgeous flower,only small to about 2.5cm. The photo does not do it justice.

Dendrobium kingianum.

Cool to Intermediate.Some are small growers whilst others can medium growers,flower are very strongly perfumed and are about 2cm,but ‘Big Red’ is about3 to 4cm and very sloppy. I have quite a few on the rock wall.

Dendrobium loddigesii.

Cool to Intermediate. A small grower,a very delightful orchid,flowers it’s head off and grows like a weed,flowers to about 3.5 to 4.5cm. I have numerous growing on the rock wall and they put on a marvelous show.

Dendrobium miyakei.

Intermediate to Warm. A small grower,needs some support to stay upright,would prefer to grow pendulously,lovely little flowers to about 2 to 2.5cm.

Dendrobium monileforme.

Cool to Intermediate. A medium grower,comes in a white form or a shell pink form, also there is a variegated form but the flowers are the same,flowers to about 2.5 to 3.5cm, has a very nice perfume. Plant will keiki very often so you end up with a lot of plants. I have a few growing contentedly on the rock wall.

Dendrobium monophyllum.

Cool to Intermediate. A small grower,flowers not very big to about 10 to 12mm, this one as you can see is very contented growing in the rock wall.

Cool to Intermediate. A large grower,canes to 100 to 150cm,flowers to about 6 to 7cm with a nice perfume. I have some in front of the rock wall and some at the back of the rock

Dendrobium moschatum var cupreum.

Cool to Intermediate. A large grower,in fact every thing about this variety is the same as the type form apart from it’s colour,which is paler.

Cool to Intermediate. A tall straggley plant,wanders all over,flowers pop out at any time,quite pretty,flowers to about 2 to 3cm. I have one in the rock wall but not thriving yet.
